about this client:

pauline (71) is a friendly, chatty lady with a great sense of humour who enjoys music, going shopping and having coffees in town. she loves animals, especially dogs. pauline sustained a brain injury which has resulted in her being dependent on others for all daily tasks. pauline is a wheelchair user, she has type 2 diabetes and osteopenia. pauline requires 2:1 support and has a small and dedicated team of support workers. pauline lives with her husband.

overview of role:

we are looking for friendly caring female* support workers to join pauline’s friendly team and enable her to live as independently as possible. as pauline’s support worker, you will be required to assist with personal care, all transfers, medication, and any practical and emotional support. you will be an advocate for pauline, enabling her to live a fulfilling life and continue to participate in all activities and hobbies she enjoys engaging in. this is a full-time position with fixed shifts. please state your availability when applying for this role. flexibility required to cover sickness and annual leave.

shifts available are from monday to saturday 8.00am to 1.00pm and 4.00pm to 10.00pm. on wednesday and sundays, the afternoon shifts are 6.00pm to 10.00pm. £15.00 gross per hour weekdays, £17.00 gross per hour weekends
