Packaging operator level 1 st louis - united states, st. charles (missouri)

adecco is hiring immediately for packaging operators with our client site in st. louis, mo. weekly pay starting at $20.50 per hour and competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). we have openings on 3rd shift; sun-thurs 11:00pm-7:30am. after you apply, you will have a chance to schedule an immediate interview!

key responsibilities:

troubleshoot and maintain high speed packaging equipment (this includes some preventative maintenance tasks) all to be performed in a timely fashion. perform settings/parameters changes on equipment and document as needed to achieve target efficiencies.

completion of shift handoff checklist to ensure thorough handoff of settings information. support site oe initiatives.

continuous improvement ideas and implementation. ensure area escalation process is followed.

communicate findings related to line performance verbally and in writing, to support and diagnose root cause findings.

assist department leadership resolutions to resolving technical issues. ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures.

key requirements:

must be able to work both independently and as a team member handle multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, and work with minimal education and skills for requirement: high school diploma or equivalent required

experience in high speed packaging ability to analyze and correct deficiencies in the operation of high speed packaging equipment strong problem solving and reasoning skills.

demonstrated ability to respond with troubleshooting methods under time and delivery pressure. demonstrated ability to maintain control in stressful situations, and perform well under pressure.

strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

experience in a gmp compliant manufacturing facility ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances

troubleshoot programmable logic controller (plc)

ability to read and interpret machine manuals, this includes diagrams and/or drawings, part numbers

 

preferred requirements:

experience in high-speed packaging environment, and troubleshooting skills
