duration: 6 month contract

location: kansas city, mo

pay rate $22/hour

schedule: first shift, 40 hours per week

 

responsibilities for this position include:

 promote positive awareness of reproductive services and products to storage customers and veterinarians

• respond professionally, effectively and with timeliness to all customer inquiries and requests

• process and document shipments, semen dispositions, credits, transfers and thaws accurately and in accordance with sops.

• address and correct reproduction file or inventory discrepancies as necessary.

• communicate discrepancies or customers issues to manager in a timely manner

• ability to prioritize and multitask as well as communicate effectively with self-assurance

• ability to work in team environment.

• maintain knowledge of relevant reproduction services products, services and practices.

• assist in maintaining dewar fleet, liquid nitrogen tanks and relevant supplies

• successfully utilize secure lineage and sap for semen inventory, storage and shipping

• assist with monthly billing of storage customers

• utilize effective verbal and written communication with your team, colleagues, and external stakeholders

• actively participate in zoetis meetings, conference calls and all relevant opportunities

• support sales and marketing colleagues in achieving growth for repro services

• support key business strategies and services, and any projects assigned to the department, as needed

• provide feedback from customers which may be relevant for development of zoetis marketing plans and materials

• participate in initial and ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills

• must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. excellent hand/eye coordination for manipulating small objects.

• excellent computer knowledge (i.e. microsoft office), sap experience preferred

 

 

required education/experience:

  • minimum 1 year experience as a laboratory or veterinary technician required
