Production assembler - united states, oklahoma city

adecco is hiring immediately for a production assembler with wiring experience.  this position will pay $16.25/hr.  shift time is 5:00 am – 3:30 pm.  right now, the shop floor is working overtime just as an fyi to all candidates.  below are the details for the position.

position overview

this position includes assembling equipment components, sub-assemblies, and accessories. applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working with overhead cranes and suspended loads.

responsibilities

adhere to terex safety policies and procedures

adhere to and promote the terex way values

follow all safety regulations for themselves as well as other team member, including keeping the work area clean and in orderly condition as well as wearing all appropriate safety attire for the job that is being performed

work as a team member to meet production demands set for the day

build components utilizing hand tools such as torque wrenches, impact tools, drills, and mallets

support the team on continuous improvement

maintain clean work area and participate in 5s standards

maintain tools and equipment in working condition

troubleshoot basic issues and problems

flex into other areas and departments as needed

all other duties as assigned

basic qualifications

strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement

ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to work 10 hours per day, plus overtime when required

use of hand tools and pneumatic tools

ability to read blueprints
