looking for a housekeeper to help maintain two family homes in the same condominium, chelsea bridge vista apartments, battersea; 2 apartments with 2 bedrooms each.

our families are very down to earth. we are good employers with excellent staff retention history. a very positive and supportive environment. we are looking for someone to work for us for the medium to long term.

the ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, take initiative and be able to work independently or along with the nanny. professionalism and family-friendly are a must.

we already share a nanny taking care of our two boys aged 10 and 11 months. window cleaners come once a month.

we live busy lives with intense full-time jobs, family time, households to run and far away from our families in our home countries germany, italy , australia and the west country.

we are now realising that we need some help to square our homes and allow us to enjoy life in a balanced and sustainable way.

hence, we're looking for housekeeping support three hours x four times a week to help with the laundry, the kitchen, groceries and keeping an eye on the greenery in - and outdoors.

busy jobs - we work full time, in the office (city) and from home on an ad-hoc basis.

duties and responsibilities

cleaning the house to an exceptional standard
tidying up and storing household items appropriately
be proactive in kitchen, wardrobe and closet organisation
laundry & ironing for all the family
wardrobe management: e.g checking for missing buttons and fixing where appropriate
bedding management to an exceptional standard
checking and replacing stock levels of cleaning products & toiletries
waste and recycling management
sweep outdoor area
collecting deliveries and managing packaging waste
deep cleaning
organising weekly grocery delivery

requirements:

excellent checkable references
have prior experience working in a similar environment
excellent level of initiative and strong time management and organisation skills
have a friendly and committed attitude to work
be knowledgeable across all areas of housekeeping including the care of high-end materials (wood flooring, delicate clothing, baby clothing and equipment). ability to handwash where appropriate
have a good level of english
must live within an easy commute of battersea
ability to do basic sewing is a plus (fixing husband shirt’s buttons, or kid’s trousers)
being fully covid vaccinated

part time live-out
hours: 12 hours / week
salary: £10-£14 net/hour (depending on experience)
times: flexible (four days a day) ideally 9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm daily
no travelling required
