length: 6+ months
pay: 19.80 / hr
shift/hours: 2:45p – 11p
responsibilities for this packaging operator job include, but are not limited to:
inspect, label and package raw and finished products
maintain records according to good manufacturing practices
effectively operate production line
maintain change parts and tooling in base condition
support setup of production line and equipment
assist in setup of automated equipment in primary or secondary packaging area
monitor assigned production lines for performance and identify/resolve performance related operation issues
perform housekeeping cleans on the finishing lines
perform quality impactful tasks throughout the production run, including but not limited to challenges, parameters, pulling samples, in-process checks and bulk/commodity accountability
troubleshoot minor equipment related issues and performs minor adjustments to improve equipment efficiencies
escalate higher level safety, quality, technical and operating issues in a timely manner to the appropriate groups
qualifications for this packaging operator job:
high school diploma/equivalent
experience with safety, quality and gmp guidelines
basic knowledge and understanding of vision system
maintenance/technical background with troubleshooting equipment, performing set-ups, cleaning equipment preferred
operating packaging equipment or similar technical/pharmaceutical experience preferred
