Office manager - united kingdom, gorseinon, swansea

total leisure group is looking for a professional and competent office manager to join our growing team. a successful office manager should also have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. ultimately, the office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office, support other departments and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation. you will need to be motivated, flexible, dedicated and trustworthy individual to make a difference in this customer service role. a full list of job requirements and what the role will entail will be discussed and tested in the interviewing process. you will take on the role with vast amounts of initiative alongside strong administrative skills and management experience.

please ensure you read the below description before applying for this post. this role is a full time role within the business needs. this role is outside of the 9-5 office hours and requires administration throughout the working day to ensure all employees are supported whilst on site.

· answering all contact into the office which includes but is not limited to: telephone calls, emails, tickets, text messages, social media queries, staff queries, customer queries. office manager is required to deal with these queries effectively rather than delegating to management or other staff.

· demonstrate multi-tasking, leadership, and communication skills.

· demonstrate strong data entry skills with appreciation for accurate data.

· have the ability to manage multiple schedules across the business and make accurate changes as required.

business process systems:

· knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.

· proficiency in data management systems.

personal qualities:

· proven experience as an office manager or administrative assistant

· attention to detail and problem solving skills.

· you must have excellent customer care skills.

· have the ability to work on your own initiative.

· have confident decision-making skills.

· show willingness to learn and develop with the needs of the role.

· overseeing the work of all office employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards.

· support any employees struggling in their roles by identifying obstacles and how to overcome these by following a kpi process.

this is a permanent contract subject to trial three month probationary period. you will be expected to have a performance review with kpi,s every month within your probationary period.

the business is subject to periods of rapid growth and during this time your roles and responsibilities will need to be considerate of the needs of the business.

you will be expected to work every other weekend including sunday.

your salary will be £21,000- £24,000 pa after you have successfully completed your probationary period for 3 months. for your probation you will be on £21k pa.

you will be entitled to 28 days paid holidays which will be accrued on a pro rata basis.
