our client, a us private equity backed, high–growth business is looking for an experienced cima/acca part qualified or finalist management accountant to join the team. with continuous growth plans for the next few years, this is an exciting time for an ambitious accountant to join the team.
this role reports directly into a fantastic financial controller, who will provide a strong mentorship and support network to ensure your success in the role.
responsibilities include:
review and approval of all travel expensesresponsible for the prepayments, accruals and journals of multiple legal entitiesvat returnsglobal prepaymentsglobal general ledger reviews for cost centres / accountsrevenue share reconciliationsadministration of global company credit cardsbalance sheet reconciliationsintercompany reconciliationscarry out ad hoc tasks to support management accounting team the ideal candidate will have experience of posting payroll journals and some knowledge of uk vat. you will have strong commercial acumen, with the ability to liaise and build relationships with stakeholders. excellent attention to details and ability to problem solve is essential.
