our client a manufacturer that specialises in high-performance motors are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated building maintenance operator to join their company.
the responsibilities area: to carry out a preventative, planned maintenance program and undertake routine inspections of the premises, fixtures, fittings, utility meters, and grounds upholding duties in all outside areas, including but not restricted to the site entry, walking routes, surrounding landscape, and break-out locations. coordinate with suppliers and contractors to specify the necessary work and receive pertinent quotes for approval, deal with contractors and maintenance contracts perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, minor repairs, painting, and decorating when necessary conducting planned audits and routine site inspections to find any needed changes, coordinating with the proper departments, and implementing the necessary corrective action responsibility role of key-holder and, in rare cases, responding to after-hours calls for assistance. maintaining regular communication with key account managers to share comments and establish the cleaning plan will help you manage your relationship with cleaning contractors effectively. communicate with the on-site cleaners and do routine audits to ensure a respectable standard of service is upheld. finding ways to improve the business function; assuming responsibility for requesting approval of and putting any changes into practise.
