gi group are recruiting for a warehouse operative to join their team in the letchworth garden city area on a temp to perm basses. working monday to friday from 16.00 to midnight and on a sunday from 07.00 to 14.00

pay

monday to friday

06.00am - 06.00pm = £9.50

06.00pm - 06.00am = £11.88

sunday = £12.35

warehouse operative

* the warehouse operative is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. this can range from picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area and secure areas, whilst if required, carrying out roles within the transport environment.

* you will be responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate

* all staff are expected to understand the principles of good distribution practice of medicinal products for human use (2013/c 68/01) which is reflected in our sop - ref chapter 1 ahdl gdp1.1

* it will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this sop and have an annual refresher. all other gdp training will be job specific and as per your persona training matrix

key accountabilities & operating standards

* where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate

* special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used

* all damages must be reported to the line team leader

* hospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracy

* special check orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the special checker to ensure accuracy

* medical bulk orders, fridge orders & secure area orders must be picked in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through training

* awareness of health & safety procedures at all times

* the warehouse area must be kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish at all times

* building customer loyalty

* effectively meeting customer needs

* building productive customer relationships

* taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty

communication

* clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
