Poultry technician - united kingdom, penicuik, midlothian

we are recruiting a poultry technician at our poultry unit near to penicuik. we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who doesn't mind working hard and has a ‘can do’ attitude. must be reliable.

full time, part time and weekend/holiday jobs available.

full time - 7am- 4pm monday - thursday, 7am -3pm fridays. every second weekend (over time) 7am-12.30.

part time -7am - 12.30 4/5 days a week.

weekends -7am-12.30

full training will be given so no previous experience is necessary.

duties include:

assisting in the day to day running of the poultry unit. maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene, animal welfare and health & safety. undertake feed and water checks; egg gathering, disinfection, general cleaning and tidiness of all areas, inside and outside of unit; a small amount of record keeping poultry bedding management.

£10 per hr £14.37 overtime rate.
