Kitchen assistant and waitress wanted!! - united kingdom, barnet, london

a restaurant in east barnet village is looking for a kitchen chef and a waitress to work in our restaurant to start asap. should have a passion in cooking and willing to learn the cuisine and honest. we cook from fresh and made to order. we are extremely busy at times and should be able to multi-task and keep cool.

customer service is key to us. what ever you are back of house or front of house our customer service should be first class at all time. should be able to take orders on the phone and manage takeaways also. must speak english and over 18.

kitchen chef/ assistant - must be able to work under pressure at times and willing to learn and understand a new cuisine. being cost conscious and work as a team player. we are a small team and you will be working with the head chef, team members and manager of the business. all training will be given. should be able to clean and close the kitchen.

waitress - must be presentable and have a positive attitude. we deliver an outstanding service for our guest all the time. duties include, table service, make drinks(cocktails, coffee etc). attention to details, replenished fridges, tidy the stock room, stock take, toilet checks, closing duties and any other help required in the restaurant. all training and expectations will be explained and trained.

we are specialised in mauritian/european cuisine and grill. days required to work is friday, saturday and sunday and some week days when required. hours and days might differ depending on business needs. would be required to work on week days also. we are a small team and looking to expand with the right person. there is opportunity to grow within the business. our aim is to be recognised as the best restaurant in the area with an outstanding friendly service.

part-time hours: 16-35 hours per week and can be full time for the right candidate.

shifts can start between 12 pm to 5pm and finish sometimes at 10pm - 11pm the latest and sunday 9.30 pm latest depending on customer bookings.

job types: full-time, part-time, permanent.

salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour + tips
