our client a prestigious private members club in surrey and exclusive multi outlet resort are currently looking to recruit a talented sous chef to join a talented team keen to develop and nurture talent internally.
your duties and responsibilities will include:
working across various sections of the kitchenassisting with all aspects of kitchen management including record keeping, stock taking, food orders and ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety and food quality are delivered at all timesfull engagement and involvement with kitchen + foh teamwillingness to learn, develop and progress as the business growsyou will be using the best locally sourced, and home grown produce on site, therefore the client will be looking for a quality fresh food background within your experience to date.
you will take pride in your area with outstanding attention to detail.your previous experience will encompass working in a 5* hotel or fine dining restaurant as a cdp or senior cdp.your qualifications will include food safety certificate, city & guilds or equivalent memberships of chefs' association. current knowledge of current health & safety legislation, food & hygiene regulations and coshh & haccp is essential, along with proven experience in a similar role.with a very high standard clientele you will be working to rosette level standards cooking for a variety of different concepts and outlets on site.
