general description

 

the support services lead (printing/mail) is responsible for providing corporate and store associates with internal and external printed correspondence and documents in addition to maintaining services to assist in corporate productivity.  including but not limited to overseeing all copy and printing processes, cutting, collating, distributing and working with outside vendors as necessary.  the lead will be responsible for maintaining office supplies with roles in ordering/processing of supplies, supply area, supporting store and usps mail processing, copier/fax area toners, click counts and working with the mailroom as needed.  this job will also have an expectation to serve as back-up for all other corp support associates, facilities, welcome desk, sample room, merchant areas and shipping/receiving.

level of service:

  • assist, partner and support other department associates, as well segment teams, with shipping/receiving and helping as needed
  • process all incoming/outgoing mail and shipments; ensuring prompt delivery to departments
  • oversee all scanning, copy and printed service’s needs, collating, packaging and staging for delivery
  • consider impact to customers and acts to minimize issues
  • schedules time to accommodate for various scenarios – business holidays, weather, special needs, vacations, etc. 
  • other duties as assigned
  •  

    administrative functions:

  • inventory, order, maintain and stock all office supplies
  • inventory/replenishment and reordering of copier/fax area supplies, shipping and packaging supplies
  • maintain records for copies, ups, fedex, usps, etc
  • maintain copiers and service/call for service as needed; where applicable
  • maintain all ship systems and rates as well as general maintenance as needed
  • work with outside services (post office, vendors, suppliers, etc.) as needed
  •  

    support functions:

  • manage and process special requests for annual awards, booklets and manuals, special event packages, vendor summits.
  • provide support to your fellow facilities team members, by assisting with room/event setups
  • assist in fielding and/or routing facilities related calls/requests fellow team members.
  • possess a “can do” attitude and openness to do what the business requires to support all departments.
  • work experience and education requirements

    a motivated self-starter, with strong organization skills as well as time management capabilities. the qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and is extremely professional. providing excellent internal and external customer service, and the ability to work and communicate with all associates including executive level on a daily basis.

     

    must possess a professional level of experience (minimum of 2 years) with shipping and receiving procedures; knowledge of shipping systems and regulations preferred.

     

    physical requirements to include stooping, standing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs.

     

    must have a working knowledge of microsoft outlook and a basic knowledge of microsoft word and excel. this individual must be able to independently utilize a pc/ipad.
