adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a billing specialist opportunity in monroeville, pa.

type: contract 

pay: $21.50/hour

length:  one (1) year, with the possibility of converting to permanent placement
shift/hours: monday – friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

notes:  hybrid, will be onsite as needed

responsibilities for the billing specialist job:

third party insurance claim billing and follow up associated with the dispensing of prescription medication using the bill method required by the payer

transmit or submit claims to insurance payers for reimbursement

resolve insurance problems and patient issues that may have resulted from incorrect or incomplete information

maintain supporting chronological notes that detail actions taken to resolve outstanding unbilled claims

research and respond by telephone, via the internet, and in writing

qualifications for this billing specialist job:

customer service in healthcare environment is preferred      

experienced in microsoft office suites
