our audience ranges from beginners to expert web developers, casual developers, open-source contributors, content creators, and technology experts. our programs aim to enable developers on a global-wide scale.

overall responsibilities:

this role will be working to drive, manage, and plan programs for our global web community, providing daily monitoring, social support and content creation. you are able to article curation of content, community posts to further the goals of retaining and educating developers to ensure smooth delivery of the work. as an advocate for the community, you'll monitor trends and feedback to develop recommendations on how the team can engage with and motivate users to contribute to the web.

the ideal candidate will have a passion for the web developer community, copywriting, and social experience. 

top daily responsibilities: 

program management

  • oversee all operational aspects of the community forums, including managing developer feedback
  • update, create and maintain content resources, playbook, guidelines, and policies.
  • work with lead to plan objectives, programs, and follow through operations for execution for all programs
  • content management 

  • develop a content strategy
  • create contact accordingly 
  • partner with marketing to plan for social outreach
  • proactive community management

  • represent in community forum discussions, actively and regularly engage with top contributors in a timely fashion.
  • identifying and reporting on community trends, feedback, potential opportunities, and/or risks.
  • monitor and measure the success of community engagement, retention and recruitment, and provide reports accordingly.

  • 3 years of experience managing a global developer community
  • able to read, write and speak english fluently and idiomatically
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • project/program management background
  • experience in managing multiple stakeholders
  • a strong passion for diversity and inclusion
  • previous experience in organizing online/hybrid/offline event management best practices
  • experienced in social media outreach
  • familiarity with web development programs and processes
  • ability to juggle multiple programs/projects simultaneously
  • proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
