Disassembler - united states, jacksonville (florida)

adecco is assisting a local transmission company in recruiting a disassembler/mechanic apprentice in riverview, fl. this is for a temp-to-hire opportunity. as an apprentice, you will be responsible for disassembling the transmission, detail washing of all parts, and staging for the next steps.  

if you are a self-starter with mechanical aptitude we may have a spot for you. we are looking for an enthusiastic individual in search of a lifetime career in the trades. the correct candidate will be responsible for disassembling transmissions and assisting senior technicians in overhaul and truck shop. counting inventory and stocking parts shelves. shop cleaning duties include taking out trash weekly, cleaning shop floors, cleaning the disassembly area, etc.

 

qualifications:

· high school diploma or equivalent preferred

· clean mvr and valid driver’s license

· some mechanic or parts experience desired

· ability to safely and efficiently use machine tools and equipment

· basic computer knowledge preferred

· personal and professional integrity

· must be physically able to work in a jobsite environment to include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching

· ability to work in warehouse conditions with occasional exposure to extreme heat/cold

· ability to work rapidly in a dirty environment
