E commerce assistant in salford - united kingdom, salford, manchester

busy bedding manufacturing business and online retailer is looking for a new e-commerce assistant to join their team.

the role will involve running and assisting with managing our various e-commerce platforms, processing customers' orders, creating new product listings across website and marketplace sales channels, ensuring all new products adhere to brand standards and are launched within targeted time frames. you will also be responsible for the management of existing product listings.

working with/reporting into the sales manager, the role will be responsible for increasing our presence in the e-commerce sector, growing sales, and relationship building with new and existing clients.

the key roles for the position are:

processing orders from all of the selling platforms
managing stock and updating stock levels
updating our diverse product listings on both amazon, ebay, website and other platforms
ensuring product photography and content is accurate, providing input into creation of both when required
creating new product listings
manage existing/established listings and inventory
research competitors and industry best practice for listing on relevant sales channels
assisting with creation and development of new products and packaging
helping with basic customer service tasks, such answering emails, phone calls, processing returns
liaising with suppliers and service providers

requirements:

previous experience working in ebay and amazon sales.
strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
experience with linnworks
must be flexible and capable of adapting to different tasks on an ad hoc basis; maybe required to assist in other elements of the business such as packing orders.
capable of working as a team player
must be able to work on own initiative
well organized
must be able to take initiative and make their own decisions

the job is solely office based.

salary to be discussed, will be dependant on the experience and skills.

this role is for immediate start and working hours are 9:30 - 4 pm monday - thursday, and 9:30 - 1 pm friday (hours can be negotiated and discussed)
