permanent position

48 hours per week, any five in seven, five day shift pattern

£36516 per annum, plus bonus payments and overtime

we are looking for a class 2 driver to join our transport team in chepstow, where you will be responsible for the delivery of customers’ orders in a timely, professional and helpful manner.

about the hgv class 2 driver multi drop role:

this isn’t a lonely, long-distance driving role. you’ll be delivering great food and other catering products to a huge range of customers, from restaurants, pubs, and schools, to care homes and hospitals all across wales, gloucester, swindon, bristol and surrounding areas.

as a driver, you will be responsible for:

delivering food products to multiple customer locations, which normally vary each day.
delivering orders within food safety standards to the correct location as detailed on delivery notes and route ordering.
liaising with customers to complete delivery documentation and to collect cash and ensure its security.
maintaining your vehicle’s cleanliness and reporting vehicle damage.
liaising with the debrief team upon return and supplying accurate information and feedback about your route.
returning any stock, cages and pallets to their correct places after de-brief in a timely and tidy manner.
complying with bidfood’s health & safety accountabilities.

about you

minimum lgv category c driving qualification.
cpc training and minimum number of hours completed in current 5-year reference period.
experience of working in a similar role.
excellent, accident-free driving record.
excellent attendance record.
