ability to run and operate one or more manual or cnc machine tools, saws, and hand tools producing product to clients quality specifications.

able to work in a team atmosphere with all department and interdepartmental personnel.

able to meet company goals and objectives.

must be able to solve practical problems and manages a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

ability to maintain a respectful and positive dialog with interdepartmental customers.

must be able to use good judgment and take initiative in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

qualifications & requirements:

high school diploma or equivalent required

2 to 5 years previous practical machining experience a plus

must be able to communicate well in english both in writing and verbally.

must have knowledge of basic shop math.

must be comfortable navigating efficiently within basic windows operating system software, and within basic industrios software.

must be able to endure exposure to non-toxic graphite dust, which is classified as a nuisance dust.

must be able to frequently be exposed to moving mechanical parts and machinery.

must be able to be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals though all necessary ppe is provided.

must be able to be exposed to noise levels that are generally moderate; the office area is quiet and some areas of the machine shop are loud.

able to be exposed to non-toxic graphite dust, which is classified as a nuisance dust.

must be able to occasionally lift 35 pounds

must be able to regularly perform repetitive tasks.
