primary responsibilities include:

 

unload materials according to inbound dock schedule and production schedule

participate with all planning team functions/debriefs

communicate off-site warehouse shipments/receipts

clean and storage of equipment used in unloading process.

recording of load properly.

keep work area and truck area clean at all times.

any other duties assigned by supervisor.

perform daily, routine safety inspection of material handling equipment

work safely and report any unsafe situations

load/unload trucks with the use of a forklift and/or pallet jack

pick product in less than pallet load quantities from the pick area and take to the order staging area

sort damage out of load

stack/unstack products as needed

lifting products/materials up to 50 lbs
