position overview: responsible for the daily items listed below while working in safety and recruiting for drivers and operations.
job description- duties & responsibilities:
recruiting:
recruit for qualified owner operators and company drivers
provide computer support as needed for operations
safety:
conduct and coordinate new driver orientations
train and certify motor carrier client’s driver instructors and driver trainers
assist in operations duties such as recruiting qualified owner operators and company drivers
responsible for ongoing and corrective action driver instruction and training
assist with accident investigations and reviews
train and certify container lift and yard truck operators
requirements:
ability to conduct cmv driver safety instruction, operations instruction and training & container lift and yard truck instruction and training
good knowledge of fmcsa
complete understanding of fmcsa part 395- hours of service of drivers
strong communication, organizational and time management skills as well as computer knowledge
knowledge of intermodal and transportation
pay is $20.00 per hour
