taking the quickest and safest route adapting to traffic and weather conditions
helping to load and unload the vehicle
collect the correct fare and returning correct change
keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order
good customer service and a duty of care to passengers
communicating with the dispatcher, submit a small amount of paperwork on a weekly basis
clean licence and have no criminal record
have held a private hire taxi licence for one year or more, obtained through exeter city council or surrounding area. it is the drivers responsibility to renew their licence when required. help will be given to anyone wishing to apply for their licence and start their career as a taxi driver.
