this company is one of the uk's largest privately-owned industrial engineering companies and supports three subsidiary businesses. they provide engineering services to industry covering machinery installation and relocation, mechanical engineering, technical and heavy lifting and wind turbine generator construction on a national & international scale.

about the role:
you will be required to assist with the organisation of the daily logistics of the branch. offering full support to the branch manager.
main duties
- deal with all telephone sales enquiries
- establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- cost monitor excel spreadsheets
- support and manage operatives
- support and maintain job files for contracts managers
- collate company timesheets on a weekly basis
- prepare end of month accounts for head office
- allocation of jobs to operatives
- order plant & equipment
- organise transport
- organise relevant training for branch operatives
- maintain branch vehicles, check all data is updated and recorded i.e., mot servicing.
- produce purchase orders
- raise sales invoices
- collate sub contractor invoices/timesheets
- keep health & safety procedures updated
