busy chinese takeaway shop located in uckfield east sussex looking to hire 1 full-time takeaway shop manager. this job requires fluent language knowledge in both chinese to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and english for customer facing. it also requires that the manager has some experience cooking chinese cuisine as he/she will require doing some cooking in certain urgent situations. salary is £27,000 depending on experience.
who you are:
at least 3+ years of shop manager experience, preferably asian restaurant
at least some cooking experience in asian cuisine
strong technical background in kitchen and order processing systems
have a ‘can-do’ attitude and find solutions to problems
genuine approach for all things food and customer service
excellent communication ability and prioritize tasks
can keep your team motivated under pressure without losing temperament
you take pride in your work, treat the store like your own and have a desire to grow with us
job involves:
ensuring food ordering and delivered to customers most efficiently
upholding high standards of quality in our cuisine and provide feedback to head chef
managing team members and kitchen staff, dealing with issues & customer concerns
review customer feedbacks and aggregate sales details to driving sales organically
managing ordering, invoices, and other ad hoc administrative tasks
learn to cook our unique cuisine as needed with our head chef
typical working hours: 46 hours per week
