adecco is seeking unloaders- monday -friday 8am-4:30p, weekly pay, and benefits after 1 week. starting pay $14.00. job description is below.
container unloading – broad expectations
expected lifting of up to 20-30 lbs. for 6-7 hours.
dependability in attendance is expected. showing up late or missing days without notification is frowned upon.
work well paced and focused. containers are expected in be unloaded in an average of 2 hours with a trained crew of 3 – 4 persons. standing around, wasting time is not tolerated. please try and stay busy.
follow supervisor instruction. if you’re not sure what to be doing, stay attentive to the supervisor and seek their direction. stay focused on them and learn from them.
learn to understand all aspects of the container unloading paperwork.
cell phones are not to be used other than by supervisors. cell phones are allowed during break and lunch break in break areas.
restroom breaks should only be taken during designated break times unless there is a case of an emergency. emergencies do not happen often, so multiple restroom breaks taken outside of designated break times will be seen as abuse. please be mindful of restroom breaks.
for safety reasons, unloading associates must stay in the container once unloading has begun and until break time or finished unloading. large, heavy forklift equipment is constantly moving in, out and around the area. it can be dangerous for associates to be moving around this area and distracting to the forklift drivers. only the supervisor and forklift driver should be exiting the container.
communicate well with your associates to increase productivity and prevent mishaps.
working well in this area will likely lead to expanded rolls in other areas.
please adhere to all the above. if expectations are not met it may lead to dismissal.
