the intake manager reports to the general manager and the main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective running of the goods inwards department and stock management.

working closely with the wider purchasing, technical, and management team, this role is key to delivering stock and managing the transit of stock throughout the business.

core working hours: monday to friday 07:00 - 16:00, and saturday - 07:00 - 12:00, however, the role will demand a flexible approach to deliver the needs of the business.

we require someone with a friendly personality and the ability to be able to develop good working relationships across the business and develop their team.

main responsibilities of the intake manager include:

the day-to-day management of the intake teamensuring intake traceability systems are managed and controlledtimely receipt of all goods/deliveries and controlling the intake scheduleqa/qc of all deliveries ensuring the quality/weight is to agreed orders and specificationsstock rotation and stock management of all goodswe would welcome applications for this intake manager role, with the following skills: intakes, stock management, flt, poultry, management, stock, inwards, qa, qc, inventory, slas, leadership, people management, warehouse, communication, intake manager, goods in, stock control.
