our client is growing! climate-controlled specialty food production facility specializing in pet health & wellness. cleanliness is the top priority for producing various products for animal health.
pay: $17.60 per hour. excellent benefit package including health insurance, 401k, 10 days’ vacation, sick leave and more.
great schedule monday – friday, 1st shift

position requirements: being a good team player with great customer service, willing to pitch in and help when a big order arrives. willing to learn all tasks such as mixing ingredients, packaging products, labeling, boxing products for shipping, product manufacturing, helping clean the warehouse and pulling ingredients for production of product. learning how to operate various machines is a must and meeting deadlines.
qualifications preferred: previous experience in customer service, manufacturing and/or food manufacturing environment or relevant field, a hs diploma or ged. must have 2 professional work references from a former boss or supervisor. ability to perform basic computer functions ability to multitask effectively with attention to detail and quality. physical demands: ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. ability to lift to forty (40) pounds, including above the head and push/pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds using tote dollies and platform trucks. ability to use hands and arms for reaching/handling purposes. ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (ppe) ability to climb steps on a frequent basis as well as stand on or move around on platforms, equipment, and concrete floors.
