appropriate adults provide independent support to those, primarily in police detention, aged 10 – 17 years and vulnerable adults. some experience is required for this important role of safeguarding the rights and welfare of vulnerable individuals.full training will be provided for suitable applicants. own transport is essential and preferably be 21+ years old.
this role is a zero-hour contract, meaning hours are not guaranteed, although can be very busy most of the time. we are particularly looking for candidates who are flexible, reliable, committed and who must be prepared to work nights, weekends, bank holidays at various locations within west yorkshire. daytime hours are also available, including in situ shifts but will also be required to work some unsociable hours.
£10.50/£17.50 per hour.
