role:
setting up and operating hand benches and semi-automatic machines. must have good ink mixing skills and a good eye for colour matching. must be able to work to agreed deadlines, whilst maintaining high quality standards. screen preparation, including imaging, coating and reclamation. good career progression opportunities.
candidate:
the ideal candidate should have at least 6 months screen-printing experience, but we would consider training someone instead, providing they have a good eye for colour and the desire, enthusiasm and aptitude to learn this skill.
able to work at a quick pace. have a good eye for colour. have good attention to detail. able to follow written work instructions produce quality parts to specified standards. some computer skills would be advantageous.

position: screen printer/trainee screen printer
location: bromyard
salary: negotiable - depending on experience.
full time hours: 39.5 hour week. factory hours are 8am to 5pm monday to thursday, 8am to 4.30pm friday, overtime paid at a premium rate, with morning and afternoon drinks breaks and a half hour for lunch. annual holiday is 30 days including bank holidays (bank holidays normally account for 8 days). an annual factory shutdown at christmas accounts for 3-4 days
