an excellent opportunity for an experienced cnc programmer & setter machinist to join a well-established company based in talke pitts, stoke-on-trent.
about the role & company:

they have the ability to service both small and large capacities and provide a reliable service with quick reaction times. they hold iso 9001 certification to ensure that the high standards of quality are maintained at all times, allowing their clients to rest assured that they are receiving the best quality components and a professional service.
the company now require a skilled cnc milling programmer and setter to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. working mostly in the science, oil & gas, and marine industries.
the correct candidate must have experience on fanuc machines and be able to fully program online (offline is a plus, but not required).
candidate requirements:
experience setting and programming on fanuc machines (absolute must). problem solving and innovation. ‘hands-on’ & proactive approach team spirit (willingness to jump in and help the team achieve good efficiencies). excellent verbal and written communication skills within all levels of the business. ability to work unsupervised and under pressure. extensive experience in manufacturing. gcse or equivalent (preferred but not required).
schedule: monday – thursday day shift (37 hours/week) w/overtime opportunities.
salary: £14.50 to £16.00/ hour doe
