Material receiver handler - united states, lancaster (pennsylvania)
seeking a receiver/material handler for warminster, pa location
hours: monday - froday 7:00 - 3:30pm
duration: 6 months + temp to hire potential
wages: $18.00 - $19.52
typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
· operate various pcs and software packages including, the erp system (sap) and ms office
· systematically receive material against provided paperwork
· check for damage, verify quantities, and distribute material to work areas
· pick material via kitting sheet for various areas throughout the facility
· maintain kitting report for tracking of orders
· assist in maintaining files of receiving documents for domestic and international transactions.
· perform inventory transactions via sap.
· put away and distribute materials to all areas within the facility.
· organizes and labels material as required.
· uses various material handling equipment to safely move materials within the facility and
parking lot, as well as to the acp building.
· load and unload material into and off of vehicles as required.
· use hand and power tools (such as power saws, staplers and screw gun) for certain tasks
basic qualifications:
• hs diploma/ged
• 1+ years’ experience with material handling or shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment. valid driver’s license
preferred qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience with receiving, storing, shipping, and material handling methods
· basic understanding of microsoft office and operating system.
· able to use miscellaneous office equipment such as, copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
· must be able to read, write and communicate in the english language.
· ability to look up shipment tracking via carrier websites.
· forklift certification and able to safely operate material-handling equipment
· possess valid driver’s license.
