our client is a specialist engineering company due to growth they are looking to recruit a service technician (onshore/offshore).

the role

this role is both workshop and offshore based.day shift when onshore but may require 12-hour shifts when offshore.you will be part of a dynamic team committed to maintaining a large marine and offshore client base by providing annual inspections on a range of fire, rescue and safety equipment.performs marine and offshore inspection and commissioning activities in either marine or offshore environmentperforms h2s safety work scopes in either marine or offshore environment.to perform examination, test, service, repair, and recalibration on the full range of products from the company's portfolio, rental portfolio and potentially third-party products.the pre-rental preparation of rental equipment whilst ensuring client deadlines are met.provide accurate records of all service and rental transactions and work performed. the person

the candidate would preferably be qualified in a related technical area such as electronic, electrical, computer or mechanical engineering/ or have relevant experience.candidate will also hold all relevant offshore certification and medicals.experience in fire, rescue and safety inspection is desirable.reliable, honest and trustworthy and act as an ambassador for the companyexcellent technical, diagnostic and repair skillsconfident in dealing with colleagues and customers effectivelygreat team player but can work just as effectively individuallystrong communication skills (written and verbal)full driving license. the benefits
