Regional account manager - emea (hybrid working) - united kingdom, basingstoke, hampshire

the regional account manager is responsible for developing working relationships with clients to maximise client satisfaction so that long-term relationships are achieved and advanced. the regional account manager will also support their goals in achieving profitable sales growth, through a focus on telecommunications expense management (tem), wireless expense management (wem), managed mobility services (mms), cloud expense management, and other telecom sourcing needs of existing clients and some prospective new clients.

principal responsibilities and duties:

manages assigned client accounts, taking a leadership role in:

- developing mutually beneficial working relationships,

- achieving account growth by continuously presenting and upselling to existing clients to expand the service offering,

- understands the client's operational and data processing systems in order to meet client needs in a way that is mutually beneficial to both the client and the business.

- presents the capabilities, features, and benefits of all products and services offered by the business, to qualified decision makers.

- achieves a small targeted sales quota measured by total contract value

- demonstrates the ability to coordinate the assignment and management of customer priorities.

- keeps leadership, appropriate internal resources and customers informed of significant issues on a timely basis.

- develops pricing requests and proposals where applicable

- organises and takes part in monthly operational calls and quarterly business reviews and works with regional and global account managers to support and develop global accounts.

important to know

this is more of a relationship management role ensuring their clients are getting a great experience from the services on offer. there will be a small sales target so the candidate will be part of the sales team and report into the emea sales director but they would like the focus to be on delighting their customers and spotting opportunities where you will then be supported by members of the sales team where needed.

the role is eligible for a bonus which is both individual and company related. it also attracts commission on new or upsold business to existing clients.

the role will be hybrid with the opportunity to work from home and the office.
