summary

• i am looking for someone to support my 13-year-old son during the school holidays to

enable him to have fun days out.

• my son is a bubbly, talkative teenager who loves big ben and windmills as well as other interesting buildings. he has brittle bone disease and uses a wheelchair or walking frame and is very independent.

• tasks will be taking my son out into the community, accompanying us on family days out or engaging him in activities he enjoys at home.

other requirements

• must be comfortable with cats

• non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

all applicants must be willing to undertake an enhanced disclosure & barring service check if required.

successful applicants will be entitled to holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

typical duties

social:

• accompanying my son on trips out keeping him safe

• accompany on family days out.

• the above duties will involve, lifting the folding wheelchairs in/out of the employer’s car, pushing my son’s wheelchair when needed.

• whilst on duty at the employer’s home watching tv and engaging my son in activities he enjoys.

previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
