this ar clerk role focuses primarily on patient accounts receivable.
this role works as part of an overall ar team of more than 12 people and would be part of a key group specifically focused on patient ar.
daily work includes answering incoming patient calls, taking phone payments, posting patient payments received in mail, evaluating unpaid patient balances for further collection activity.
qualifications for the medical biller:
hs diploma or ged
must be fully covid vaccinated
successful applicant should have 1+ years of as a medical biller with experience in reading insurance explanation of benefits, claims and electronic claims process, and insurance and patient ar follow up process as well.
prior experience with nextgen pm system is helpful but not required
