Kitchen assistant manager - united kingdom, lambeth, london

successful and busy wholesale business is looking for a full time assistant chef / manager for our kitchen in south london. will also consider part time role for the right candidate. we produce high quality, handmade savoury pastries, pies and quiche.

favourable hours - no night shifts! ideally, hours would be approximately 10am to 6pm, 5 days per week.

duties and expectations include:

closely working with the kitchen team to be hands on to complete daily tasks including prepping and cooking
overseeing part time staff on production line
maintaining kitchen standards
organising / packing orders and prepping for morning delivery team
ability to work in a small, but highly productive team food hygiene level 2 or higher
