a revenue generating, and profitable, startup that are providing an innovative solution as a result of the covid pandemic, and whose applications are being used by clients worldwide, are now seeking a senior developer to join the team.

the startup is fully funded, and not beholden to venture capitalists or anybody else. with an accomplished and experienced management team, you'll join an existing team of mid and junior level developers and provide mentorship and assistance to them while helping to drive the systems forward with the latest technologies and best practices. you'll work closely and to be under the mentorship of a skilled developer/cto with more than twenty five years experience.

this role is open to people with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience, a passion for coding, a great working attitude, and a willingness to learning quickly.

technically, the ideal candidate should be skilled in the use of php and laravel, coupled with html and javascript (vue.js); and who has worked in a test driven development (tdd) environment.

in terms of desirable skills, any exposure to react.js, react native and aws would be beneficial.

there's a two year roadmap already planned out, so there's plenty to do, and you'll be working on new features development for about 80% of the time.

this role is 100% remote (uk based only). as the startup are based in yorkshire, they would prefer candidates that are ideally within commutable distance of leeds or manchester; but will consider any good qualified candidate in the uk.
