Material handler (8am start) - united states, st. charles (missouri)

adecco is currently seeking a material handler to perform a variety of entry level shipping and receiving tasks with some administrative activities within the supply chain function. functional areas include the following: distribution, inventory control, logistics, planning, transportation, and/or warehouse support. 

responsibilities

supports receiving inventory and shipping to various pest locations across the us

prepares orders and documents for shipping from e. st louis warehouse

receives and documents incoming deliveries for accurate inventory management

assist with routine inventory management of fumigant service products and materials

assist with managing receiving schedule of inbound shipments from vendors

report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes

stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock

maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work environment

minimum qualifications

high school diploma, ged or equivalent required

knowledge of the microsoft office programs (word, excel and outlook)

previous forklift operating experience

ability to lift 50 pounds

preferred qualifications

associate or bachelors degree in a related field

experience in commercial fumigation and/or pest management services

previous hazmat or chemical handling experience is preferred

previous experience in a warehouse, transportation, shipping and receiving related capacity

previous experience in a customer service position

schedule 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

public transportation routes mlr, 1x, 5, 14x, 16x, and 40

driving instructions south of martin luther king bridge and east of highway 44 (near the intersection)

type of assignment 6 months temp-to-perm opportunity
