Senior laravel php developer - united kingdom, exeter, devon

we are the fastest growing crm start up in the uk. since our inception we have had rapid growth and now serve customers in countries all over the world. since finding a great product market fit we are ramping our operations, including bringing in a sales team, a marketing team and multiple international staff to help with overseas operations.

currently our staff all work remotely and are located all over the globe.

as part of this transition we have some ambitions (but concrete) plans which we aim to complete with an office based team in exeter.

the role (may) be offered on a hybrid basis, but will start fully remote while searching for an office.

we are looking for a talented backend or full stack developer who love to code in laravel as much as we do.

- php7.4 (laravel 8) (q1 2023 to php 8.2)

- vuejs

- docker (development)

- amazon aws (ecs - fargate, eb, elasticache, rds, cloudwatch, ses)

- mysql

- sentry

- slack

- flutter (for our mobile app)

we are considering our options wether we continue with vuejs or migrate to react during a rebuild of our application, we would totally welcome your input.

what we need:

- production experience with laravel

- experience with billing and payment integrations

- database queries optimisation and good sql level

- writing readable code with good balance between beauty and speed

- testing your own code (writing those tests!)

- experience with laravel & vue

- eager to learn anything new about laravel every day

- a great colleague to work with
