the carpenter will work with residential and commercial construction teams.
must have wood framing experience.
essential duties
wood framing of residential and commercial construction projects.
ability to layout, and frame according to plans/prints for residential and commercial construction projects
general knowledge of the construction industry and safe practices with the proficiency in the use of power and hand tools along with other construction related equipment is a must
successful candidate will assist with various other duties in the project from beginning to end and be a positively contributing team member
some general labor work will be required
requirements
2-3 years previous verifiable framing or carpentry experience is required
ability to perform job safety analysis and report or correct any job site hazards
must have own hand-tools
physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, stooping, digging, repetitive motion, working on roofs and in weather related elements
candidate must be dependable, have organization skills, be detail oriented and a team player, strong work ethic
valid nys driver license
