an excellent opportunity for an experienced assistant accountant to join a well-established company based in sleaford.

about the role:
bookkeeping using accounting software. processing payrolls. preparation of vat returns. preparation of end of year accounts.
a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping is essential. applicants must be familiar with microsoft office and a knowledge of sage or iris accounting software would be an advantage. a good telephone manner and communication skills are necessary for this role.
ideally the candidate will have completed the aat level 3 or 4 qualification and have at least 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
they require a full-time permanent member of the team but hours could be flexible for the right applicant. a competitive salary (£25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience) will be offered to the successful candidate. the company also operates a company pension scheme.
