adecco creative & marketing has an incredible opportunity to be the email marketing project manager for a fun, charismatic, relaxed consumer goods company. they’re looking for someone who will be a confident people leader and help lead their email marketing team successfully through growth and change. the email marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing the email program for their triggered and transactional campaigns and responsible for the success of the last chance and prospect groups. they are looking for a strong email marketing background with experience in high volume sending. your knowledge of email execution/technology is secondary to the creative, offer driven focus we require. extensive experience in email marketing is a must-have. demonstrated supervision and training of employees essential to success in this position.

 

duties and responsibilities

· manage all aspects of our triggered and transactional (t/t) email program: including but not limited to abandon cart, abandon browse, welcome series, birthday, order confirmation, shipping confirmation, and more.

· manage the testing process through our email service provider.

· responsible for analyzing email results metrics to improve conversion.

· forecast product to support email t/t offers.

· collaborate with a design team on creative execution of t/t offers.

· provide final approval on design/copy on t/t offers.

· supervision of the email team last chance & prospect specialist positions.

provide leadership and clear expectations to the specialists:

v identify and exploit our most responsive email segments through customer analysis.

v review email marketing segment offer calendars utilizing benchmark metrics.

v analyze email successes and failures, looking for opportunities for improvement

v work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes, while increasing the productivity of our email sends.

· develop, and execute a re-engagement series for optimum conversion of unengaged buyers.

· responsible for being current on all direct marketing and email marketing best practices, can-spam compliancy and applying that to direct marketing efforts.

· other email-related help within the email marketing channel as required.

 

qualifications

· bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

· at least 4 years of email marketing experience required

· experience in supervising and training employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments

· proven analytical skills required

· must be comfortable with change

· positive attitude, self-motivated, creative individual preferred

· excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form).
