adecco is working with one of our best clients to hire a skilled brake press operator for their shakopee, mn facility! this is a full time, permanent position.
shifts available: 2nd and 3rd shift
pay: $30/hr to 37/hr

job overview:
to adjust and operate computer numerically controlled machines relating to sheet metal fabrication which could include lasers and press brakes.
job responsibilities:
program nest (using cad or cam software) and produce all sheet metal parts produced in laser cutting machines.
set up and run cnc press brake.
experience or demonstrated abilities in basic machining.
monitor sheet metal cell workload and ensure that all prototype parts are produced on time according to the schedule.
utilize and operate proper material handling equipment.
ensure that all parts produced in sheet metal cell meet print and process specifications through in-process parts inspections.
responsible for all training given within the sheet metal cell.
job qualifications
3+ years proven sheet metal experience.
experience or demonstrated abilities in basic machining.
experience or applicable technical training in tool and die, or demonstrated abilities.
