the purpose of this loading/dispatch operative role is to contribute to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects of dispatch department:
to organise and oversee the loading of the vehiclesto accurately record loading informationto separate customer orders to specific routesto load customer orders ready for dispatchto load and dispatch third party collections and deliveriesto work efficiently and within required targetsdaily reporting to dispatch managerthere is a considerable amount of manual handling and lifting required, working in a refrigerated warehouse.

you will also need to have:
good numeracy and literacy skillsthe ability to work to tight deadlinesa good level of physical fitnessthe ability to work individually and as part of a teamdesirable skillsno formal qualifications are required for this loading operative role, full training will be provided.
a fork-lift truck licence would be advantageous however not essential. if identified an essential requirement, the training will be offered.
