we currently have an exciting opportunity for a service/maintenance co-ordinator. the successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the effective delivery of engineering related functions associated with service and maintenance.

job duties

-to co-ordinate the effective end-to-end delivery of customer service and maintenance matters

-ensure maintenance targets are met including; service call response times adhered to consistently, maintenance visits completed within timescales

-ensure a full and accurate description of the fault/issue is recorded from the customer

-ensure the request is passed to the relevant engineer according to skills and competence

-ensure overall journey planning is organised to maximise efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the engineering team

-ensure job sheets are completed accurately and tasked to the appropriate person and allocated onto outlook

-prepare estimates for repair jobs and raise the po and invoices as appropriate

-monitor progress and keep the customer appraised at each step and ensure all jobs are fully closed down

-organise any health and safety approved access equipment as required for jobs.

essential criteria

-excellent communication skills both written and verbal

-excellent telephone manner

desirable criteria

-customer service professional with experience of liasing, arranging and dispatching engineers as required

-4 gcses to include maths + english a-c

-previous service desk experience is beneficial

-previous experience within the fire and security industry is desirable

-previous experience with sage and alarm master
