responsible to emerging talent centre manager

purpose of post to lead, whilst working within a multi-faceted team of staff, the planning and coaching processes in maximising the physical development and performance of all etc players

start date 3 rd october 2022

centre operates on: fridays

time: 5:25 to 6:55pm

venue: shrub end community sports centre, colchester, essex, co2 9bg

rate of pay 20ph 1.5-hour session per week for 30 weeks

responsible for:

to plan and deliver a physical performance programme aligned to a physical curriculum to all players across three 10-week blocks. complete the relevant testing to monitor the progression of players across the 30-week programme. construct and support the implementation of strength and conditioning in player's own environments away from contact hours at the centre. liaise with the grassroots clubs the players within the etc have come from to support the uptake of the relevant and necessary strength and conditioning in their footballing environment. ensure that the colchester united fitc philosophy and ethos is followed at all times. ensure effective communication between all departments and stakeholders, including parents, is continuous throughout the season. to adhere to the fa safeguarding and equality policies and procedures. to adhere to the fa and colchester united etc codes of conduct at all times. to adhere to the colchester united etc data protection policy and privacy policy. to complete a player review sheet per block to monitor player development

requirements

minimum qualifications include:

bsc in sports science or a sport science related discipline and, hold uk strength and conditioning association (uksca) or ascc accreditation. if accreditation has not been obtained, evidence must be provided to demonstrate an ability to working towards obtaining it, including, but not exclusive to, the attendance of workshops. fa dbs, fa safeguarding children course fa level 1 introduction to first aid in football (ifaif) or fa emergency first aid. desirable
