summary
• i am looking for a special person to support my 7 year old daughter who loves music and dancing
• the role is to support her to develop her independence and social skills through activities
• this would be by taking her to the park or doing fun activities at home
• at times it would be to support us so we can go out as a family with her younger brother
• there is some personal care involved
• my daughter uses makaton to communicate so some basic experience of this would be useful
• most of the support is needed in the school holidays but please apply if you can only do some of the hours

successful applicants will be entitled to holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
the role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against covid-19. careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.

previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
