we are currently recruiting for a chef de partie to join the kitchen brigade at a stunning coastal 4-star hotel near newquay. the successful chef de partie will have a passion for creating exciting textures and flavours and have a flare for detail.
the place
our client is a beautiful coastal hotel, with a view of 2 miles of sand, cliffs and constant surf break. on site they have a fine-dining restaurant, a family restaurant, a bar area and a coffee shop.

the person
the ideal chef de partie will have the following:
high standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation.a true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.true team spirit, enthusiasm and the right attitude will go a long way!have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.knowledge of ingredients and the ability to use them in a creative waybelief in being a team playerexcellent time management skillsprevious experience of working in busy kitchen
