description

a european leading edge bespoke ice cube & ice sculpture designer requires delivery drivers to join our very cool, happy, hardworking team, and to help us maintain our high level of service offered through london and the uk. we provide bags of ice and world leading ice sculptures to the savoy, gordon ramsay, the ivy and all of london’s top restaurants and events.

all you need is the right attitude - we can teach skill, however we cannot teach attitude, so as long as you have the right attitude, you’ll be fine. we have no age requirements, but you do need to be over 21, but you can 81, we don’t mind.

you must be/have:

hard working, and fast. high paced environment, it’s ice and melts. you need to be quick
fluent english, punctual (on time) and reliable
attention to detail, care about the product, committed and willing to get the job done.
willing to work weekend shifts, two saturdays and sundays per month
strong and fit – able to lift 12kg bags of ice and heavy ice sculptures
must have uk visa to work
must be over the age of 21 for insurance reasons
optional - london streets knowledge advantageous, but not essential.

the role:

business delivery hours - 6am – midnight 7 days per week
usually 8-12 hours shift lengths, 5-6 days per week.
after 7pm on weekdays 10% higher pay
pre 6am – 15% high pay
saturday day 10% higher pay – saturday after 7pm 15% higher pay
sunday day 15% higher pay – sunday after 7pm 20% higher pay
50 – 70 hours per week – depending on season – more hours available
85% of role multi drop ice delivery – between 20 – 40 drops per day in new sprinter vans
once experienced – you will do ice sculpture deliveries and set up
help loading / unloading vans
general cleaning and maintenance
